(Indianapolis, IN) - It appears another execution will occur this week at Indiana State Prison.
Governor Mike Braun has denied clemency for death row inmate Jeffrey Weisheit.
In denying clemency, he accepted the recommendation of the state’s parole board to go ahead with the execution.
Weisheit was convicted of killing two children under his care by setting their house on fire in Evansville more than 15 years ago.
His execution is scheduled early Thursday at the prison on Michigan City's west side.
