(Michigan City, IN) - The Boys & Girls Clubs of La Porte County is under new leadership.
Shannon Walker is the new CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs. She takes over for Michelle Shirk, who in 6 ½ years grew the organization from three to eight clubs serving four La Porte County school districts.
A longtime La Porte County resident, Walker brings more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership. She previously served as Vice President of the Unity Foundation of La Porte County and Executive Director for Association Advancement at the La Porte County Family YMCA.
