(La Porte, IN) - The Slicers tonight open sectional play at home in high school football.

La Porte will take on Goshen.

Both teams are 2-6 on the season.

Our very own voice of the Slicers, Ben Davis said he believes La Porte has the edge, feeling they had a tougher regular season schedule than Goshen.

“The Slicers are battle tested,” he said.

He also said the Goshen defense is not the greatest at stopping the run while rushing is what the Slicers' offense prefers.

The game will be broadcast on 96.7 The Eagle starting with the pregame show at 6:15 p.m.
