(La Porte, IN) - The Slicers are on the road in high school football tonight.

 

La Porte takes on Lake Central in a Duneland Conference match-up.  Both teams are 1-3.

 

Our very own voice of the Slicers, Ben Davis, feels it’s a game the Slicers, who are still nursing some injuries, can win.

 

“You can’t have turnovers.  You can’t have penalties.  You can’t have mistakes.  If you can limit those, La Porte has a chance to win this football game,” he said.

 

La Porte hopes to break a three game losing streak after opening the season with a victory of New Prairie.   We’ll broadcast tonight’s game on 96.7 The Eagle beginning with the pregame show at 6:45 p.m.
