(Michigan City, IN) - A woman was seriously hurt when struck by a train over the weekend in Michigan City.

It happened Friday night near the crossing at Greenwood and S. Carroll avenues.  Police said the woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but further details were not provided.
