Braun Keeps the Brakes on Tuition Increases

(Indianapolis, IN) - Indiana Governor Mike Braun has extended a higher education price freeze. His order keeps tuition and mandatory fees static at all campuses of the state’s 15 public colleges and universities.

The Governor also called on schools to find efficiencies, eliminate redundancies, and streamline services without compromising the quality of the education they provide.

Braun made a similar move last year to stem the tide of rising education costs for Hoosiers. Purdue has held steady with its tuition for over ten years, but this is the first time in state history that all public institutions of higher learning will stand pat for two straight years.
