(Michigan City, IN) - Tired of renting, living in Mom and Dad's basement? Interested in getting into real estate? Next week, the United Way of La Porte County will host a free symposium on all things housing.

 

The event is geared toward first-time home buyers, investors, those new to the community—in particular data center employees and construction workers— veterans, or anyone who may be asset limited.

 

The seminar will take place at Michigan City’s Blue Chip Casino on Thursday, August 20 and is completely free.

 

Doors open at 4:30 pm. There will be various sessions addressing topics related to home-buying and home-building, followed by a panel discussion. Free food and a free cocktail mixer is included in the evening.
