(La Porte, IN) - Professionals are extremely busy removing trees from homes after Tuesday’s storm, which produced what some people believe were hurricane force winds.
Kyle Russell with Forrester’s Quality Tree Experts said his office received dozens of calls from people needing fallen trees removed.
“We’ll be out and about the next couple of weeks at least,” he said.
Russell and other members of his crew this morning were about finished removing a large tree from a house at B and 4th streets in a job that began last evening.
He said it took longer last night to drive back to the shop a few miles west of La Porte from having to find other routes from so many streets blocked by fallen trees.
“They came down fast and hard,” he said.
