(Porter County, IN) - A woman is being held without bond on allegations of stabbing her father to death and cutting out his heart near Valparaiso.

Serena Dolnics, 32, of Wheatfield is charged with murder.

Authorities said her 69-year old father, Gregory Dolnics, was stabbed multiple times Sunday at his home.  His heart was cut out and found on his stomach.

According to authorities, the discovery was made during a search of the home by police after his daughter reportedly showed up at a friend’s house covered in blood. She’s being held in the Porter County Jail without bond to await the outcome of the case.
