(Westville, IN) - A barbecue grill is believed to be the cause of a fire this morning in Westville.

Firefighters about 6 a.m. responded to a home on County Road 250 South.  A barbecue grill left unattended is suspected to be the cause from ashes dropping on the wooden deck.

About one-fourth of the deck was charred while heat from the fire melted some of the siding on the garage.  Fortunately, the flames were put out without much, if any, damage to the house.
