(La Porte County, IN) - Traffic was restricted on a local highway late this morning due to an accident involving a semi-truck.

Police say the westbound lanes of U.S. 20 were closed in the area of County Road 300 West near Springville just after 11 a.m.  The semi was reportedly hauling a steel coil.
