(La Porte County, IN) - One person was injured this morning in a motor vehicle collision with a tree in La Porte County.

Emergency responders about 7:30 a.m. were called to the area of 150 North and 850 East.  Initial reports indicated a medical helicopter was called for the driver whose legs were into the dashboard.

The driver was conscious and complained of pain to his knee and chest.

So far, police have not released any information about the crash, which is under investigation, but we’ll provide those details once they’re made available.
