Trip to Michigan Leads to Dispensary Marijuana Arrest

(La Porte County, IN) - A downstate man was arrested in La Porte County for having a large amount of dispensary marijuana products from Michigan.

Adam Musick, 44, of West Lafayette was jailed Sunday evening on a charge of Level 6 felony possession of marijuana.

According to La Porte County Police, an officer spotted the man traveling at a speed noticeably higher than other motorists in the area of U.S. 421 and Indiana 2 in Westville.

Police said the officer began following the man who was pulled over after making an unsafe lane movement and tailgating.  Four dispensary bags containing a number of THC vapes, THC infused gummies and raw marijuana were allegedly recovered from the vehicle.
