(Porter County, IN) - An out-of-state truck driver made a bad situation worse on the Indiana Tollway at the Portage Barrier Toll Plaza.

According to the Indiana State Police, the trouble started Tuesday morning, when a semi driver refused to pay the toll. Being nice, the trooper offered to take down the woman’s information so she could pay later. When he discovered the driver was providing false information, the officer searched her 2026 Volvo semi cab, allegedly finding marijuana and a bottle of fake urine.

The 38-year-old truck driver from Houston, Texas, who also resisted arrest, was taken to Porter County Jail. She has been charged with False Informing, Resisting Law Enforcement, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Synthetic Urine.
