(Starke County, IN) - Authorities in Starke County are investigating a hit and run that left a person dead.
On Saturday just before 6:00 pm, police were called to the area of a rural intersection just north of North Judson where an unresponsive victim had been found alongside the road.
The deceased’s injuries and scattered auto debris indicated a hit and run situation. Police suspect a black passenger car was involved.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
