(Indianapolis, IN) - After suspending Indiana's gasoline use tax and excise tax, Hoosiers have enjoyed the cheapest gas prices in the nation for a full month.

According to AAA, Indiana now has the lowest average price for regular gasoline in the nation. Since Governor Mike Braun suspended the taxes, the average prices paid by Hoosiers has fallen by 61 cents per gallon, leaving gas prices 60 cents below the national average. 
 

“Affordability is my top priority. Since I suspended Indiana’s gas taxes, Hoosiers have had the cheapest gas prices in the country. Those savings are a big benefit for families trying to make ends meet at the kitchen table. Making life more affordable for Hoosiers will always be priority one,” Braun said.
