(La Porte County, IN) - Two drivers are charged with racing on U.S. 20 in La Porte County this morning.

La Porte County Police said it was about 3:30 a.m. when two Ford Mustangs side by side were traveling about 90 miles per hour near Range Road.  During a traffic stop, both drivers were issued citations for engaging in a speed contest.  They could face up to six months in jail on the Class B misdemeanor offense.  Police said they were also ticketed for speeding.
