(La Porte, IN) - The La Porte School Corporation has a new lead financial officer.

 

Chris deBruyn has been hired as Director of Business for the school district beginning on July 1.  Currently, deBruyn serves as Director of Operations and Corporation Treasurer for the Metropolitan School District of New Durham Township in Westville.

 

Previously, he spent six years at JPMorgan Chase as a client banker and branch vice-president.

 

“His background in both school finance and private banking gives him a unique perspective, and we are confident he will be a tremendous asset to our leadership team and the La Porte community,” said La Porte Schools Superintendent Dr. Sandra Wood.
