(Michigan City, IN) - A man was shot in Michigan City last night.

 

According to police, officers about 10 p.m. responded to the 3000 block of Springland Ave. where a 34-year old man was found shot in the left leg.  Officers provided medical care to the victim before he was transported by ambulance to Franciscan Health hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

 

So far, no suspects have been reported. 

 

Police said investigators continue to interview witnesses and collect other evidence in hopes of identifying the shooter.  Investigators are also trying to locate any surveillance video that might exist to assist with the ongoing investigation.
