(La Porte, IN) - Runners and walkers planning to participate in an upcoming 5K in La Porte are encouraged to register before the April 9 deadline in order to secure an official race t-shirt.
The La Porte City Park Foundation’s Earth Day 5K Family Fun Run/Walk will take place on April 25 at the Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater at Fox Park. Participants who register by end of business day on April 9 are guaranteed an official event t-shirt. Registration will remain open after April 9 but t-shirts cannot be guaranteed after the deadline.
The Earth Day 5K features a scenic course around Clear Lake with an out-and-back section on the Chessie Trail, beginning and ending at the Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater. The event is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels.
