(La Porte County, IN) - Police say a man caught speeding in La Porte County was found with a lot of dispensary marijuana products purchased outside New Buffalo.

According to La Porte County Police, the man was clocked at 77 miles per hour on U.S. 20 near Range Road just before noon yesterday.   An odor of marijuana triggered a search of the vehicle.  More than 60 THC vape cartridges were allegedly found along with three bags of THC infused chocolates and about a half dozen pre-rolls.

Police said the items were just purchased at one of the dispensaries near I-94 in New Buffalo Township.  Marco Cardoso, 23, of South Bend man was arrested for possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license.
