(Starke County, IN) - The National Weather Service has confirmed a second tornado in Starke County during the March 10 storms.

According to the NWS, the discovery was made from analyzing satellite and storm chaser data that shows a second tornado touched down for a short period of time.

That tornado produced winds of up to 85 miles per hour compared to the 115 mile per hour winds from the first tornado that traveled more than 12 miles before dissipating.

The NWS said there were two other tornadoes from the storms confirmed downstate in Jay County and Wells County.
