(La Porte County, IN) - A Chicago woman is accused of driving impaired with a lot of dispensary marijuana in her vehicle. La Porte County Police said an officer yesterday evening monitoring traffic on Indiana 39 about a mile south of the Michigan state line stopped Jocelyn Jimenez because her windows were too tinted, police said.
Police said Jimenez, 24, had been drinking and likely smoked marijuana judging by the odor coming from the vehicle. There were also about two dozen marijuana pre-rolls in the vehicle along with a large amount of marijuana wax and gummies containing THC, police said.
Police said the marijuana products had just been purchased at dispensaries in New Buffalo Township. She was booked into the La Porte County Jail on charges of possession of marijuana and operating while intoxicated.
