(La Porte County, IN) - Two upcoming La Porte County government meetings have been rescheduled.

 

They are the La Porte Board of Zoning Appeals meeting on Tuesday and the La Porte County Planning Commission meeting on March 24.

 

County Commissioner Steve Holifield said the next BZA meeting will be on April 21 while the next Planning Commission meeting will be on April 28.

 

“We just got some legal issues we have to work through so that’s why we’re postponing them for a month,” he said.

 

A proposed data center ordinance was among the issues the planning commission was expected to address next week.  La Porte County Commissioner Joe Haney said the meetings were pushed back due to the resignation of Doug Biege, who was the attorney for both governing bodies.
