(La Porte County, IN) - A wanted man was arrested after forced off a residential property by police in Springfield Township.

 

La Porte County Police said officers Thursday morning responded to a complaint that 44 year old Charles Wilson was no longer welcome to stay there and he refused to leave.

 

 

 

 

Police say Wilson was inside a recreational vehicle on the property where he had been living but wouldn’t come out.  Eventually, officers with help from a chemical agent forced Wilson out of the RV in the 6800 block of N. Indiana 39. 

 

He was arrested for resisting law enforcement and illegal possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.  Police said a hold was also placed on Wilson for authorities in Porter County, which had a warrant out for his arrest for resisting law enforcement.
