(Merrillville, IN) - NIPSCO is offering bill support for its utility customers through the end of the month to help offset bills that doubled and even tripled for many customers over the previous month.

According to NIPSCO, the temporary measures include waived late and reconnection fees, a pause on service disconnection for non-payment, and reduced reconnection deposits for gas customers.

These measures will last until March 31.

NIPSCO also offers payment plans, budget billing and income based assistance programs year-round.
