(La Porte, IN) - A driver who caused a crash and fled in La Porte yesterday was soon found intoxicated.

That’s according to La Porte County Police, who arrested 38 year old Ronald Davis.  About 4 p.m., police said he struck the back end of a car stopped for a traffic light at Indiana 2 and Fail Road.

Police said Davis was followed by the victim, who stayed with the suspect until an officer spotting him traveling fast pulled him over at Severs Road.  Davis had an alleged blood alcohol level of .128 percent.  There was just minor damage caused by the collision.
