No Arrest Yet in Shooting of Teenager

(Michigan City, IN) - Michigan City Police are investigating the shooting of a teenager inside an apartment Wednesday.  Officers about 11:30 a.m. responded to Normandy Village, an apartment complex along Pahs Road near Michigan City High School. 

 

 

Police said the investigation shows a 19 year old individual was shot in the right arm inside of the apartments. The victim was taken by ambulance with what police described as a non-life threatening wound.  No arrests have been reported.

 

“This was not a random shooting and there is no known threat to the community at this time,” said Captain Kevin Urbanczyk.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Michigan City Police.
