(La Porte County, IN) - A Rolling Prairie area man is facing drug related charges.

 

Matthew McCleery, 40, allegedly had a small amount of methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana.

 

Police became involved early this month when a caller reported possible suspicious activity at Ohio and Woodward streets in La Porte.  Upon arrivial, officers found McCleery behind the wheel of a parked vehicle, police said.

 

Police said an unopened pack of syringes were also found on his possession.

 

McCleery is charged in La Porte Circuit Court with possession of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine, both Level 6 felonies, along with misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

 

He posted $750 bond after his January 22 arrest, according to court documents.
