(La Porte County, IN) - A La Porte area man is facing allegations that he had sex with a woman against her will.  Antonio Christensen, Jr., 22, is charged in La Porte Circuit Court with Level 3 felony rape.

According to court documents, the woman told investigators she woke up at a home in the Kingsbury area on January 6 to find some of her clothing had been removed and Christensen in bed with her.  The woman said she was not able to get him off of her despite repeated attempts, according to police.

Court documents revealed that police were scheduled to interview Christensen about a week later but he failed to show up.  His vehicle along with his cell phone were later found in Van Buren County, Michigan.  Christensen was taken into custody Wednesday on a warrant issued for his arrest the previous week.  He was being held in the La Porte County Jail on $25,000 bond.  Christensen could face anywhere from a 3 to 16 year sentence.
