(La Porte County, IN) - A Westville man died following a single vehicle crash yesterday. 

 

 

 

 

La Porte County Police say 75 year old Terry Churchill was northbound on U.S. 421 when he left the right side of the highway and struck an embankment then a tree.  Churchill was taken to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

 

The crash happened just before 9 a.m. between Interstate 94 and the Indiana Toll Road.  That stretch of highway was closed for about three hours to allow for an investigation of the crash site and clean-up of the wreckage.
