(Indianapolis, IN) - A nine year old boy is asking the governor for a favor because of the Indiana Hoosiers being in the national college football championship game.
Jack Gibson wrote the governor requesting a two hour delay to the start of school the day after the Monday night game against the Miami Hurricanes.
Gibson said his parents have already agreed to let him stay up for the entire game, but a two hour delay would allow him get enough sleep to avoid possibly falling asleep in class. The boy from the southern part of the state also added in his letter that he's praying really hard for fog or snow to force a delay.
In response, the governor while praising the Hoosiers said the boy will just have to get to school at the normal time and later catch up on his lost sleep.
