Application Process Opens for Scholarships

(La Porte County, IN) - Unity Foundation of La Porte County is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2026-2027 academic year.  The deadline to apply is March 13 at 5:00 p.m. CT.

In 2025, Unity awarded a total of $325,000 to 174 local students through this scholarship program.  The Unity Foundation General Application simplifies the process by allowing students to apply for over 50 different scholarships through a single online application.  The application form, frequently asked questions, and additional details are available at uflc.net.

Applicants are encouraged to begin the process early.  “Unity Foundation is honored to support local students as they pursue their educational goals,” said CC Payne, Director of Operations at Unity Foundation.

“With more than 50 unique scholarship opportunities, there is truly something for almost every type of student—whether their strengths are academic, extracurricular or service-based. Unity scholarships are not limited to high school seniors, either. We support students during every phase of their post-secondary journey,” Payne said.

Graduating high school seniors, continuing students, and non-traditional students seeking to obtain a professional certificate, or associate, undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree are invited to apply for the many scholarships administered by Unity Foundation.
