(La Porte, IN) - Organizers of the La Porte Invitational basketball tournament announced this week that at least one of the games will be broadcast to a national audience and feature a special halftime show.

Fox Sports 1 will air the final game of next Friday night’s session, featuring La Lumiere versus Long Island Lutheran. Adding to the spectacle, a performer combining fire, aerial acrobatics, and hula hoops will present a halftime show at the last two games Friday night. Modern circus performer Grace Good will display aerial acrobatics, fire stunts, and advanced multi-hoop skills in what organizers say will be a powerhouse performance.

The three-day tournament, now in its fifth year in La Porte, will feature 32 players ranked among ESPN’s top recruits in the nation. Many of them have already committed to no fewer than 17 top college programs. Eight of the teams participating are ranked in the top 20 nationally.

Tickets are still available for the La Porte Invitational, which takes place at the Civic Auditorium next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
