(La Porte County, IN)- La Porte County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating reports of objects being thrown at vehicles along U.S. 421 over the weekend.

Officials say the incidents happened Saturday between 2:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., with drivers reporting frozen water bottles and other objects thrown from a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. Several cars were damaged, and deputies say the actions are both criminal and dangerous.

The sheriff’s office has increased patrols in the area as the investigation continues. One victim is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest.
