The La Porte County Sheriff’s Office will host its annual Christmas show for children this weekend.

 

Sheriff Ron Heeg said professional magician Matt Kalita will put on a performance at the show on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.

 

“If you’ve never seen him in action before you don’t want to miss it,” he said.

 

Children in attendance will also receive gifts from Santa and Mrs. Claus. The show held annually for over 60 years will be in the auditorium of Kesling Middle School.

 

Tickets are distributed to schools and social service agencies to give to families in need.  The event relies on donations and volunteers with proceeds supporting scholarships.
