(La Porte County, IN) - Two vehicles were disabled from striking a tire on a La Porte County highway yesterday.

La Porte County Police after 4 p.m. were called to the 6700 block of E. U.S. 6.  Police said a sport utility vehicle after hitting the tire had to be towed from damage to the radiator while another driver suffered a flat tire.  A third vehicle was not disabled but suffered damage to the undercarriage from running over the tire.  Police said each of the drivers had insurance to cover the cost of repairs.
