(La Porte County, IN) - The high school boys’ basketball teams at La Lumiere and Michigan City will play each other this season. 

The game could be a little lopsided considering La Lumiere recruits players from all over the world and routinely is ranked in the top 10 nationwide.  Head Coach Pat Holmes is not taking anything for granted, though, against the Wolves.  “The thing with high school basketball, man, is you got to bring it every single night,” he said. The game is scheduled December 9 at La Lumiere. 

So far, the Lakers are 3 and 0 on the season with every win being a blowout.  Both teams are also scheduled to play next year at Michigan City High School.
