(Starke County, IN) - A man is in the Starke County Jail after allegedly caught with a large amount of methamphetamine and other drugs because of a license plate reading camera.
Nicholas Hagen, 38, of Knox was pulled over Monday night after his motorcycle westbound on U.S. 30 passed the camera, which revealed based on his license plate number that he had a suspended driver’s license.
Police said Hagen seemed impaired, which led to a search and discovery of more than 50 grams of methamphetamine along with over four grams of fentanyl, THC gummies and other drug related items.
Hagen revealed he smoked methamphetamine earlier in the morning, police said.
He’s charged with seven felony and misdemeanor counts related to his alleged dealing and possession of the substances.
