(Michigan City, IN) - Police are looking for a sports car stolen in Michigan City.
On Tuesday morning, county police were called to an apartment complex near Woodlawn Ave. and U.S. 20, where a resident reported a car stolen.
He told police that he was in the process of purchasing a 2018 Dodge Challenger Hell Cat from his girlfriend’s daughter. The Hell Cat had been delivered Monday night to the apartment parking lot.
The next morning, it was missing, with nothing left but some shattered glass.
Flock cameras caught images of the stolen car in Monday’s overnight hours in Porter County, then later in Dalton, IL. Police are still trying to track it down.
The Hell Cat was valued at $65,000.
