Thousands Paid for Fair Singer's Guitar

(La Porte County, IN) - Big money was paid for a guitar belonging to a country music star who played at the La Porte County Fair last week.

The guitar, which sold for about $10,000, belonged to Warren Zeiders, whose hits include “Pretty Little Poison.”

The guitar also contained the signature of Zeiders, who also performed before the fair during the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army parade in Washington D.C.

Money from the sale went to the La Porte County Fair scholarship fund.

“So that was great.  Great for the scholarship fund,” said La Porte County Fair Board President Steve Mrozinski.

Mrozinski said roughly four to five thousand people attended the Warren Zeiders concert in the grandstands.
