(Porter County, IN) - The body of a man paddle boarding on a lake in Porter County has been recovered.

At about 5 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to Sagers Lake near Valparaiso on a report of a missing paddle boarder.  According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, a diver recovered the body of the 63 year old Illinois man about an hour later.

So far, the investigation shows the man had a life jacket with him, but he was not wearing it, according to DNR.  The name of the man was being withheld until next of kin have been notified.
