(Westville, IN) - Two pickle ball courts are going up in Westville with much of the work today performed at no cost.
The cement for the courts at Prairie Meadow Park was poured this morning then crews began smoothing it out.

Bowen Engineering, which has been doing some major water related work involving the new prison in Westville still under construction, is leading the give back effort with help from others like union cement finishers.
“The town came to us and asked if we could help with the community pickle ball court and we thought we’d lend a hand,” said Jake Wade of Bowen Engineering.
Some of the union workers were apprentices using the opportunity to further hone their cement finishing skills.
The pickle ball courts to be under lights could be ready to start using this fall.
