(Michigan City, IN) - A bank robbery occurred in Michigan City this morning at Horizon Bank on Franklin Street downtown just before 10 AM. 

 

Officers were looking for a suspect described as white with blonde hair in a pony tail. He may have been wearing a surgical mask.

 

It appears a plastic grocery-type bag was used to carry an undisclosed amount of money out of the bank. The robber was also described as in his late 30s to early-40s.

 

Officers were combing the area but, so far, no suspects have been reported.
