(Portage, IN) - Indiana Dunes National Park beaches have reopened.

The decision was made after test results showed a spill from U.S. Steel Midwest did not pose a health risk from having contact with the water.

The orange-colored substance contained a lot of iron, but officials said the amount was below unsafe levels. The steel plant has also started operating again.
