(Michigan City, IN) - Michigan City Police were trying to locate a suspect in an armed robbery this morning at a fast-food restaurant in the city. 

After 7 AM, officers were called to Burger King. According to police, it appears an employee was greeted by a gunman who fled northbound on Franklin Street in a black-colored SUV.

A black GMC Acadia was quickly spotted traveling at high speeds at Franklin Street and Coolspring Avenue. Officers were still scouring the area to locate the vehicle last seen on Tilden Avenue from Harrison Street.
