Marion Iliff, 84 of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Marion was born on November 14, 1941, in La Porte to the late Marion and Esther (Stringer) Iliff.
Marion served his country in the United States Marine Corps and is a member of the American Legion, Post 83 in La Porte. He was a Machinist with Ramset/Red Head Manufacturing, for 37 years, now Illinois Tool Works. He was an outdoorsman enjoying deer hunting and fishing.
On April 12, 1974, Marion married Jeanne Julia (Trycinski) Illiff. She preceded him in death on August 3, 2024.
Surviving are his children, Lisa (Paul) Walb of La Grange, Indiana, Edward (Angie) Davis of Michigan City, Kenneth (Shelia) Iliff of La Porte; 29 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Roberta Davis; and his best friend, Jack Cook.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Davis, January 17, 2022, and sisters, Viola Peterson and Grace Bowen.
A Celebration of Life will be announced.
Private burial will take place.
