Cynthia M. Beamon, 77, Trail Creek, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 5:53 am in her home.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
She was born December 19, 1948, in Chicago, IL, to the late Steve and Sophia (Simala) Smego.
Surviving are two sons, Edward (April) Beamon, II and Charles Beamon, both of La Porte, IN; four grandchildren, Andrew (Ruby) Beamon, Nicholas (Elizabeth) Beamon, Matthew (Andria) Beamon and Emaleigh (Austin) Fischer; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her former spouse, Edward Beamon; and companion of many years, Bruce Steinke.
Cynthia had worked as a machine operator at Michigan City Paper Box Co. She enjoyed cooking, boating, watching TV and working in her yard.
Cynthia and her family were especially grateful for her devoted caregivers, Amber Marshall and Tammie Rogers. Their loving care and kindness meant so much to Cynthia, and they became like family to her and her loved ones.
