Dawn M. Aumiller, 67 of Union Mills, Indiana passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

 

She was born on December 11, 1958, in Sturgis, Michigan to the late Paul and Rachel (Snook) Chiddister.

 

Dawn retired from Porter Regional Hospital as a Unit Secretary. She spent her retirement as a loving (nana) grandma Dawn to her 12 grandchildren. She was an Auxiliary member of the American Legion, Post 295 in Union Mills.

 

Surviving are her sons, Jason (Selise) Chiddister of Hamlet, Indiana, Thomas (Traci) Chiddister of Vicksburg, Michigan, Mikel (Michelle) Aumiller of Knox, Indiana; grandchildren, Trinity, Ethan, Monica, Tristan, Teagan, Matthew, Ashley, Kaiden, Shawn, Tamara, Jaxon, and Lucy.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Frank Hawkins, Janice Blacker, and Ed Hawkins.

 

A Celebration of Life will be announced.
