Patricia M. Caddo of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington Street, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.

Pat was the daughter of the late Faustin W. and Gladys M. (Banul) Klosinski. She was preceded in death by her daughter Stacey Caddo and her sister Anita Albano. Pat is survived by her daughter, Amy Ledlow, her husband, Bo of South Florida, and her sister, Theresa Greene of Mill Creek.

Pat was born, grew up and both lived and loved her hometown of Michigan City and Duneland Beach.  She graduated from Elston High in 1960 and went on to earn her Masters in Education from Purdue University.

She dedicated over 25 years as an area elementary school teacher, where her love of education and helping young minds develop were tested, trusted and center stage at both Mullen and Knapp Elementary Schools in Michigan City.

Pat was an avid tennis player, a bit of a card shark, and voracious reader. In retirement, a world traveler - Journeying on Safari in Africa, going to Cuba, wandering the Great Wall of China, trekking across Europe, Iceland and beyond. Yet somehow her pilgrimages always brought her home, where her heart still remains on the warm sands of Lake Michigan's shore.
